Hi everyone!
Well we are rocking and rolling over here, with all of the items in stock and all of the worker bees (Mamaw, myself, my hubby and the dogs) laboring breathlessly, around the clock, to fill boxes and seal with a blessing.
Some notes:
I sent the PDFs to everyone who ordered it, and whose payment went through.
Check your emails for those! If you didn't get it and think you should, email me at [email protected].
There are only 250 boxes left and we're packing them as fast as we can!
We hope to have all the remaining orders shipped out by Monday, latest.
Government shutdown and holiday rates may slow down shipments next week.
Part of the reason we're rushing as hard as we can.

Shipping has begun, in waves!

Good afternoon, Kickstarter backers!
Well, the hard work of receiving, unwrapping, assembling, packing, sorting and labeling the packages has begun! Whew, this is everything they said it would be, and more! I am so excited and busy all the time. Again, please know that I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I send you a blessing each time I seal a package, glancing at your name with gratitude.
Production Updates:
As with card readings, take what you need from this, and whatever doesn't resonate for you it's probably meant for someone else.
The "Haunts" expansion deck, the "Haunts" bandana, and the greeting cards are still in production. This means, if your reward includes any of these items, your package has not yet shipped because we don't have these items in hand yet. We ask for your patience. Remember some Kickstarter campaigns take months and months... we're lickety-split by comparison!
What's the holdup on those? Well, we would have had the expansion deck and the greeting cards even sooner, but evidently COVID has caused a significant paper shortage. We were able to source what we needed last week, after several weeks of worry, and we're now on press.
Bandanas??? I know, it's bananas that we're waiting for bandanas (groaaan, sorry). No, there were no bandanas in the campaign, you are correct. But I am having some kick-ass bandanas made to match the "Haunts" expansion pack theme, and I'm sending them to my "Haunts" people as a gift for supporting me. They are also delayed because I had trouble finding a US-based printer who could make what I wanted. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to printing.
International shipping woes:
I have sent quite a few individual apologies to my non-USA backers, but let me apologize again publicly to you all at once as well.
Shipping is crazy right now in the USA. Let's just start there.
Costs are high due to the shipping crisis. To ship one padded envelope with a single card deck inside it costs USD$24, because of its size and weight. When I set the shipping cost in Kickstarter originally, I entered $7, which was outdated information that someone provided me, and to be fair, I did not even yet know then what the deck would weigh (13 ounces). Now I have shipped a number of them to France, Germany and the UK, and I know it's $24. This is why in BackerKit, you're being asked to add the remaining $17. It sucks, I know, If this is a dealbreaker for you, you are at liberty to cancel and get a full refund. I am sorry.
USPS Has Suspended Package Services to Australia Due to COVID-19 Outbreak. Due to the latest outbreak in Australia, it has forced mail centers across the country to close amidst new lockdowns across the country. For this reason, USPS has taken the decision to stop sending packages to the country for the time being. Australian backers, please stay tuned: I am researching options via DHL and/or FedEx.
But what's the good news?
Despite these setbacks, we have been able to ship out our first 166 packages! For those of you who were in that cohort, CONGRATULATIONS! Everyone else, please know we are working our butts off to get these rewards to you. XOXO

P.S. My 84-year old Mom— a bona fide Tennessee Mamaw, with all of the Southern magic — is the one whose job it is to affix labels on all the boxes. Not to worry, she's smarter and sharper than anybody I know. One of my favorite things these past few days is to hear her muttering to herself all of your names as she searches through piles. "Where are you, Amanda? I know you were here by Sam somewhere... Ah ha! There's Brittani! I've been looking all over for you, Brittani..." and so on. It's pretty cute.
